Everything was thought out to the last detail and had a very luxurious feel, from the balcony there is a great view of Dogo Onsen and all of Matsuyama with the castle and mountains in the distance. As part of the accommodation, you can visit the onsen on the top floor with an amazing view, or you can book a private onsen. We used this option and highly recommend it, everything was prepared, perfectly clean, an amazing experience. The rooms have a selection of home traditional clothing, including shoes, sorted by size. Live piano evenings in the hall are also a bonus. The stay at the hotel was perfect, both due to the professional approach of the staff and the great atmosphere. If you want to have a great experience during your stay in Matsuyama, definitely stay at this hotel.

This villa features free private parking, full-day security and free WiFi. The villa has family rooms. We enjoyed everything. The beds were huge and comfortable, there was a lot of space in the duplex apartment. It was clean and the welcome juice and treats were a lovely surprise. The staff were happy to help us call a taxi and reserve a table at a restaurant.

Very nice comfortable modern apartment with everything you need. Super clean. Helpful owner. Plenty of space for a relaxed stay.

At the guest house, the units have bed linen and towels. Absolutely amazing stay, somewhat modern classic meets japanese style room. The building looks brand new. There is an amazing scent of fresh wood which is the house made of. Room looked traditional, tatami on the floor and futons in the corner of the room for sleeping. Very nice and cozy with breathtaking view from our room. The owners were being incredibly nice and even recommended some restaurants and arranged reservation for us. I can only recommend. We stayed only one night on our Shimanami kaido cycling route but it was a really pleasant experience.

The host was very kind and welcoming, making our experience even more memorable. Highly recommended!

The property is a bit uphill, so you end up getting incredible views on Omishima island, and there's also a nice rock garden. Food options on the island are limited so I appreciated the lovely dinner after a long day's ride, and I also appreciate the vegen option offered 🙏🏻 all in all, would definitely recommend staying here! It's a guest house with only 3 rooms, so it's quiet and private. Had very welcoming staff interactions and this is a great place to stay and explore the local islands from.

Would need to take a bus or train from Uwajima. Schedule is not regular but easy enough to navigate. Space is large and very well thought out with sleeping room, hang out lounge and nice kitchen with table and chairs. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great place to base for walks in area. Huge bonus was Izakaya down the street. Super refined and tasty. We enjoyed our stay.

What a fantastic experience. Now that I've stayed, I can see why all the reviews are so positive. This guesthouse is PERFECTLY outfitted to provide a comfortable experience for travelers. It's visually stunning, and contains everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is no food in easy walking distance, but the local Family Mart is an easy bike ride - and the kitchen is *well* outfitted. There are even some snacks, instant ramen, and curry / rice available for purchase (honor system) if you are hungry. The service from the staff was also wonderful. I'll be sure to go out of my way to stay here again if I'm in the area. Like another review said: Book with your eyes closed!

The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and the night sky was cool to see with all the stars. Could store our bicycles under a roof too. Really comfortable beds and pillows.
