Possibly the best hotel/ short stay experience I have ever had. The service was exceptional with excellent facilities to spend your time relaxing in - with a large beautiful lounge with a fire pit, live shamisen performances daily from 4pm to 6pm. The public onsen had incredible outdoor views with the terraced pools giving you an option to sit under cover or out in the elements (it was snowing during our visit so it was idyllic). With the additional option to rent out a private onsen also, you are spoiled for choice. The staff were incredibly helpful in suggesting activities and also providing information on how to use the local train services on the Aizu line to support our day trip to Ouchi-juku as well as our journey to our next destination. Helpful tip- you can pay for train tickets at Ashinomaki onsen station before or after a trip on the train, to save any stress or doubt over carrying the correct change coins (but make sure you have cash to cover all of it!)

O Tagoto dispõe de banho público quente, quartos em estilo japonês e ocidental e cozinha japonesa, a 5 minutos de carro da Estação Aizu Wakamatsu. Beautiful traditional building that was kept immaculately clean, beds were super comfy and heating was perfect. The ladies running the inn were so nice, and went above and beyond to help us with our requests, even though we could not speak Japanese. Highly recommend this place! The bath here was so lovely too. A big thank you to the ladies running the inn for their superb hospitality! :)

Amazing host that made us feel welcome with good communication before the stay and via instruction manuals inside the property. Everything was clean and new. Facilities for children well thought out. Property is great for families with a large table and space for suitcases as well as basic cooking facilities. Location is a 3 minute drive from Fukushima Aquamarine and 25 minutes from Hawaiian resort by car.

The place is spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped. Just felt like a perfect home. The balcony is awesome. We met some trouble during the trip and checked in lately; however, the owner was kind and patient. We greatly appreciated it! Will definitely recommend this property and visit again if I come back to Aizuwakamatsu.
