Very clean and efficient use of space. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were very clean and private, a good ratio of bathrooms to guests — if you’re worried about “shared bathrooms”.

Restaurants and convenience stores nearby. This tiny house has EVERYTHING you need. Very thoughtfully furnished. Very comfortable futons and soft sheets. Clean as a whistle! Owner lives 5min away and came to help me when I got confused about how to get my key from the box attached to the side of the house. The owner responds to messages very promptly. There is a file folder with pictures and descriptions of places to eat at and stuff to do in the vicinity, even very clear directions for guests, which is super duper thoughtful. I highly recommend!. Tq Ms Aria!! It was a very good stay even though it was just one night.

This was our favorite hotel in Japan. It is perched on a steep hillside and has a lovely ambiance that is both luxurious and authentically Japanese. We splurged on a room with a private onsen and its own deck which was absolutely fabulous. We had a car, so getting there did not involve taking a taxi from the train station in town. However, it was a bit difficult to find when we first arrived and Google sent us to a different hotel.

We wanted to visit the so-called Demon Slayer castle hotel. It’s out of the way so we rented a car rather than take transit. The drive itself was four hours from Tokyo. From the parking lot staff, to front desk, housekeeping and everyone there… the staff were all amazingly kind and patient. Not everyone speaks English, but there are a few. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very ryokan style (tatami) and the onsen was super clean. We had Kaiseki dinner and it was quite the experience. Food was delicious at dinner and the buffet lunch was traditionally Japanese. The stand out for us was the AIZU yogurt and AIZU maple syrup made from local chestnut trees. If anyone at Ookawaso reads this, please accept our thank you. You were all wonderful and we hope to visit from Canada again someday. Thank you for your patience with my eight year old son and our horrible Japanese.

Amazing host that made us feel welcome with good communication before the stay and via instruction manuals inside the property. Everything was clean and new. Facilities for children well thought out. Property is great for families with a large table and space for suitcases as well as basic cooking facilities. Location is a 3 minute drive from Fukushima Aquamarine and 25 minutes from Hawaiian resort by car.

昭和の家anzu 二階建ての一棟貸切 oferece acomodação em Fukushima. Estação de trem de Fukushima fica a 8 km de distância, Minami-Fukushima Station fica a 11 km e Fukushima Azuma Baseball Stadium fica a 18 km. Staying here is cheaper than in a hotel. I could live there.
