Well situated in the centre of Takayama, Mercure Hida Takayama offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. The hotel is a short 5 min walk to the station. Very quiet area. They have a private onsen for couples, so my husband and I tried our first onsen. Nice hot water with cold air outside. Very relaxing. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many dishes. Lots of toiletries and comfortable pajamas

Ideally located in the centre of Takayama, Relax Hotel Takayama Station offers continental breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. It is super near Takayama station and nohi bus station. It has alot of restaurants near the hotel. 10mins away from morning market and takayama old town. Very convenient location. Room is very big and spacious, it is very clean and bed is very comfortable.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. It was close to the train station and close to the old town. The guest house was nice and tidy, with plenty of (indoors) possibility for free time activity (manga library, games and Nintendo) and a nice coffee house. Not to mention the shared kitchen and common room. They were also kind to look after our luggages for the day after we checked out.

L'Oyado Koto No Yume es troba a 2 minuts a peu de l'estació de Takayama i ofereix habitacions d'estil japonès amb un toc de color. Aquest ryokan, ens va proporcionar una entranyable experiència d'allotjament tradicional, amb una espaiosa habitació de tatami, ús de yukata que et proporcionava l'allotament, i també de kimonos. El personal molt amable i atent.
