Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Really relaxed and not super particular. At the same time, a top class Ryokan with excellent food, service, rooms and private onsens. Also tons of old videogames and manga.

47 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park, BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn is a recently renovated property set in Kusatsu and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The room was bright and clean, and the private onsen was amazing. There is a kitchen and a shared space where you can experience a traditional Japanese kotatsu. Everything was great except that the property is located on a hill, so you have to climb to reach nearby places. The road was very slippery on snowy days, and we almost slipped several times. I would not recommend this place for travelers with elderly people or young children.

Craig was a great host, accommodating to his guests, with great sense of hospitality. The location was perfect in the middle of valley, pretty calm and surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was healthy and energetic. Bonus point (on top of great coffee for coffee lovers 😊), the Lodge offers activities such as rafting, canyoning, etc. through local partners with negotiated rates. Great experience overall, hoping to come back again

More then 500 years onsen was first esperience in my life also we enjoyed first time private onsen with my husband .We had breakfast and diner served in room and it was unforgettable , especially egg cooked in onsen! I wrote and article in Latvia local lifestyle Magazine about this amazing experience, hopw to come back one day , Arigato gozaimasu, Kobayshi family
