Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Ryokan bem tradicional, linda decoração dos ambientes, equipe e atendimento maravilhosos, quarto amplo e bem limpo, confortável e relaxante. Local bem tranquilo, ótimo para descansar. Onsen com águas termais maravilhoso. Café da manhã bem servido com variedades de opções. Foi uma experiência incrível de hospedagem em Kusatsu Onsen. O ryokan fica um pouco afastado do centro (Yubatake) e do terminal de ônibus, mas não prejudicou em nenhum momento a nossa experiência na cidade. Inclusive, na volta o carro do próprio ryokan levou a gente de volta para o terminal de ônibus.

Um sonho. As montanhas, a neve, a agua quente… realmente especial. O quarto super espaçoso e a vista estonteante. A comida era farta e excelente. Os futons super confortáveis. O banho publico muito bom também!

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn está em Kusatsu, a 47 km de Jigokudani Monkey Park e a 15 km de Mt. Kusatsu Shirane. Private onsen. Shared rooms with tatami and a lot of space where to sit, kitchen, toilets... Check in and check out is electronic and fast, you do not have to communicate with anyone.

Craig and all the staff were wonderful and made us feel like home. They had great tips for things to do in the area, gave us rides from/to town, and also helped make reservations. The e-bikes made getting around super smooth. Breakfast and coffee every morning were top notch. And finally the lodge itself was spotless and in a super beautiful and peaceful area, with hikes starting pretty much right outside the door

Hotel staff is friendly and really made us feel at home with their personalised service. We love the Kaiseki dinner, their sets breakfast, and their rooms are equipped with private onsen and it is Modernised and exceptionally clean. Their public onsen is spacious, clean and fully equipped.

Okiya is a warm and welcoming ryokan ran by a lovely couple that treated me like their own. Feel free to ask any requests from them, including ebike rentals and tours. Do be sure to let them know in advance so they can plan and prepare. Kiryu is a wonderful place full of history, and this former geisha house fits right in. Aside from touring the city, an evening spent getting to know both the hosts and the house can be an attraction too!

While the location was a bit out of the way (roughly 25min drive from Takasaki station), it was in a beautiful and quiet spot surrounded by cherry blossoms in full bloom. The room we had was the biggest out of all the places we stayed in Japan, was clean and comfortable, and had a private garden with covered deck and outdoor bath, which was absolute bliss after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. The hospitality shown to us by the staff was exceptional, and we had no problem communicating through limited Japanese/English. They served traditional meals, which were beautifully presented and a delight to eat, having small servings of lots of different things. We made use of the free bicycles and had a great time exploring the area while getting a bit of exercise.

I really enjoyed the kind staff who were accepting of my limited skills in communication. It’s was so close to both the town centre and the open baths.
