Morizuya staff were exceptional. They delivered excellent service throughout our stay. Examples include detailed welcome/ tea ceremony, proactive offering to help us take photographs, helping us with the correct way to tie our yukatas and driving our luggages to the train station. Dinner was delicious and simply wow. Breakfast was a delight too. Will highly recommend anyone looking to stay a night(s) in Kinosaki Onsen to seriously consider Morizuya as your first choice. Traditional multi-course dinners, hot-spring baths overlooking old forests, and spacious Japanese rooms with nature views await guests at Negiya Ryofukaku. The ryokan itself is beautiful, our room was very spacious, and all necessary equipment, cosmetics, and yukata were provided. The public baths were very clean, and using them was a real pleasure. We also booked the private bath twice. The staff members were very nice and helpful.

The location is right on the main thoroughfare where the public onsen are located. Despite being close to the action, it was still very quiet. The building is modern, well kept, and spotless.

Absolutely huge room by Japanese standards and even Australian. The bathroom has a separate toilet, separate wash basin area and another room with its own jacuzzi and sauna. Amazing! It was also a smoking room with a window that opened wide and breakfast was great too. And to top it all off the check out time is 3pm. Best hotel I stayed at in all of Japan and it was the lowest price of all of them. If staying in Himeji this is 100% the place to stay.
