The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! The house is spacious, spotless and very well equipped. Host Yancy is very nice and welcoming. I really recommend to buy green tea from his plantation as it's delicious and fragrant!! We were offered eggs from his hens and tried lemons which is the nicest I've ever had. The views were breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. The whole area is magical, just wish we could stay longer:( Will definitely come back if revisit Japan. Please bare in mind that it's a narrow and twisted drive up, so consider renting small car if you planning to drive in Shikoku mountains.
