Ideally set in the Aoba Ward district of Sendai, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Sendai Nishiguchi PREMIER is situated less than 1 km from Sendai City Community Support Center, 18 km from Shiogama Shrine and 400... Perfect location, especially with luggage and arriving from the station. We actually managed to take a breakfast at this hotel and it was a good mix of continental and Japanese.

Everything about this hotel is fantastic: the natural onsen, helpful staff, extensive breakfast, beautiful rooms and comfortable beds. The location is also very convenient; close to Sendai station.

Located in Sendai and within 1.7 km of Sendai City Community Support Center, Hotel GrandBach Sendai features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Loved this hotel. The music theme is great! Conveniently located near the train station. Very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly.

Located in Matsushima, 10 km from Shiogama Shrine, Matsushima Koumura features accommodation with a hot tub and a public bath. It was a great stay. We were greeted by the owner of the hotel, a very kind woman and her husband. During our stay we were very well treated: without asking our luggage was brought upstairs, we got nice gifts (sake) and lots of recommendations. The room was clean and spacious with a nice view, the futon mattresses were very comfy. The location was also perfect for us, not too far from the city center but also in a quiet neighbourhood. Above all we also really enjoyed the public bath.

Situated in Takagi, 11 km from Shiogama Shrine, Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

Set in Ishinomaki, within 37 km of Shiogama Shrine and 49 km of Sendai City Community Support Center, Tama Hotel offers accommodation with a restaurant and as well as free private parking for guests... If you love cats this is the nicest place you will ever be. The owner goes out of his way to help you taking hospitality to the next lever, even by Japanese standards. Mino helped us get to the ferry, made sure we had the opportunity to play and feed the hotel cats, upgraded our room. There's no words to thank all the kindness we received.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. This ryokan style hotel was one of our best experiences in Japan. The views over the islands of Matsushima were superb - truly one of the 3 great views of Japan! Our room overlooked the famous Fukuurabashi bridge through a picturesque screen of the twisted pine trees that make this view so iconic. The kaiseki style meals were superb - delicious and beautifully presented. Each dish was a delight of discovery, awe and wonder. We enjoyed a private onsen bath with sunset views and also visited each of the other public baths over the next day. The views over the bay are simply stunning.
