Hotel japanese style is amazing. Delicious breakfast with both Japanese and western continental options. Free noodles in the evening. Onsen was very good. Staff was really helpful.

Service was great - reception helped us to make reservations for day trips, and arrange for our luggage to be sent to the next hotel. The afternoon and late night snacks were a welcome treat as well. The rooms were clean and well designed. The theme was a nice touch - with Bach music being played, musical motifs all around the hotel decor, and the scents in the lobby. Public baths on the top floor were clean and good.

Located in Matsushima, 10 km from Shiogama Shrine, Matsushima Koumura features accommodation with a hot tub and a public bath. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. The ryokan provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Was so got that we had to stay another night

Sendai Museum is a 15-minute train ride from Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East. Sendai Castle and Zuihoden are a 20-minute drive from the property, while Sakunami Hot Spring is located an hour away by car. I love everything about the property. The location, the view, the facilities, amenities, service. I didnt try the breakfast because we were always on day trips early in the morning.

Situated in Takagi, 11 km from Shiogama Shrine, Bridge33 CAFE AND HOSTEL features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and luggage storage space. Very nice people, clean facilities, cute bar downstairs, with spacious rooms and delicious breakfast (paid). It was a very enjoyable experience. Please do mind that most activity plays at the other part of Matsushima, which is about half an hour walking.

The owner was very accommodating and even drove us to the port to get to Tashirojima Island. You can also feed and play with the cats :)

Sendai Toshogu is 21 km away and Rakuten Seimei Park Miyagi is 22 km from the guest house. Host was friendly and informative, location was good and had convenient access to many sights. Room was simple but clean. Nice view and surroundings.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Guests can enjoy the on-site private dining room. Free private parking is available on site. It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.

Located right in front of Matsushima Bay, Komatsukan Kofu-tei offers accommodations with free wired internet access. Guests can refresh in the public hot-spring baths and enjoy traditional multi-course meals in their rooms. A free shuttle is available from JR Matsushima Kaigan Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away. The view from the rooms is amazing. The best is the private Onsen with view to the bay, absolutely stunning. The staff is superattentive and they axplain everything in english. The atmosphere in the hotel is quiet and chilling.
