Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Fantastic location, a very short distance out of the main tourist areas, but close to everything. Beautiful setting both inside and out. The room had fantastic views and was very comfortable and spacious. Lots of amenities available.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Erinomainen palvelu ja ystävällinen henkilökunta, siisti huone, erittäin hyvä japanilainen illallinen sekä ilmainen shuttle lauttaterminaalista.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Everything from being picked up from being picked up from the ferry to checking out was perfect. The staff were so attentive. The food was delicious, and having the option to book the private onsen every day. If you get a chance to book here do it, it's well worth it.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Fantastic food, lovely facilities, and super close to the hiking trail up to Mount Misen.

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. The staff in this hotel were amazing. They were kind and courteous and genuinely very caring. The staff did everything they could to make sure we had an excellent stay. This included the taxi driver, receptionist, waitress and the shop assistant. The hotel is in an excellent location (make use of the free shuttle to make moving bags easier) with fantastic facilities. The Japanese breakfast and dinner were brilliant.

Located in Miyajima, 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and 400 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, 宮島 町家宿 進龍庵 provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. One of the absolute highlights of our time in Japan. The house is a beautifully restored ryokan with excellent modern facilities, on a quiet street just a 5 minute walk from central Miyajimacho. Our host was incredibly generous and accommodating, greeting us with tea and treats and recommendations. She made us feel very welcome. As a base for our hike of Mt Misen, it was perfect. Miyajima is a busy place for daytrippers from Hiroshima, so staying overnight gave us the chance to see the island practically deserted in the morning and evening hours: a perfect way to see Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in Temple earlier in the day, before the crowds arrive, and even to wander out at low tide after dark to touch the base of the great, "floating" torii gate. Highly, highly recommend Shintatsuan as a place to stay!

The breakfast was amazing. So beautifully prepared and served. The hospitality is exceptional. We had bed warmers for the night and were sent on our way with hand warmers as the weather was cold.

B hotel Kaniwasou 301 Minute walk from Miyajima Pier for 11ppl has a patio and is set in Miyajima, within just 800 metres of Five Storey Pagoda and less than 1 km of Itsukushima Shrine. Located in Miyajima with Five Storey Pagoda and Itsukushima Shrine nearby, Kinsuikan provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Great location with attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Nice rooftop and a guest lounge one floor below with free drinks and desserts.

Itsukushimahigashimonzen Kikugawa, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Miyajima, 2.3 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach, 500 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, as well as 700 metres from Itsukushima... Everything. Hosts are amazingly helpful. Very clean comfortable and Japanese style rooms. Excellent breakfast. Quiet and peaceful with the small sitting room and Japanese garden. Can’t get such value and comfort.
