Guesthouse EL CAMPO localiza-se em Gokase, a 47 km de Monte Aso, e fornece acomodações com um bar e estacionamento privado gratuito. Os hóspedes podem desfrutar de vistas da montanha. Accomodation was a beautiful log cabin in the Miyazaki countryside! The facilities were clean and modern, and the bed was so comfortable!! There were so many thoughtful touches, like having spare pairs of crocs outside the cabin, having salt and cooking oil in the kitchen, having tea and coffee sachets. You can also park directly in front of your cabin which is very convenient. We reserved the course dinner offered by the host and it was delicious!! The host was also the chef (and the bartender) and we had a great time chatting to him in English and Japanese about the locally sourced ingredients and his very well-stocked bar. Thanks for such a lovely night Keita!! Next time we will need to stay even longer, so we can use the fireplace and enjoy more of the peaceful countryside. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend El Campo.

Le Lodge Mimitsu situa-se a 29 km de Totoro-kō e dispõe de um jardim, um terraço e acomodações com ar condicionado, varanda e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. By far the best place we stayed on our road trip. So incredible and the facilities were top notch! Wish we could've stayed more cause we didn't expect it to be so beautiful. Check-in was super easy and I loved the hand written notes with my name on it. Made it very welcoming. Definitely would recommend.

Em Miyazaki, a cerca de 17 minutos a pé de Cape Iruka, The Little Garden fornece um jardim, quartos não fumador, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e um salão partilhado. The host is super nice he went out of his way to help us withmany things. . We also got lost gettinv there and he was kind enough to pick us up. Cant reccomend this place enough. Very relaxing chill clean environment with the best host 😊

Walking distance to Takachiho shrine and town, a short drive to the boat pier or a 30 min walk (significant downhill to boats/uphill to hotel).

Ryokan Shinsen localiza-se em Takachiho, a 6 minutos a pé de Takachiho Shrine e a 1,8 km de Reserva Natural Takachiho Gorge. Let me start with the location. Rekan is very conveniently situated — right near Takachiho Shrine, close to the bus station, and just a short walk from a local market with souvenirs and regional products. There are also cafés and restaurants nearby. It’s not far from Takachiho Gorge, and overall, there’s always somewhere nice to walk and explore. The hotel has its own parking as well. The room was excellent — clean, spacious, fully equipped, with a generous selection of complimentary snacks and drinks. There’s a private onsen and a small garden that you can enjoy. Honestly, I didn’t even want to leave my room. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Always ready to help — they personally advised me on the best places to book in the city and recommended where to go. They were genuinely interested in my trip and eager to assist. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. I overate every time. The staff kindly explained and presented everything with such care that I even felt a bit awkward from their overwhelming politeness. It’s a wonderful place, and I’d love to return again.

This is the best apartment that I have stayed in my 2-week vacation in Kyushu. Unfortunately, we only stayed 1 night (original was 2 nights) as our flight from Yakushima island was cancelled due to bad weather. Rather than flying, we took the Toppy jetfoil. Host was kind enough to adjust our stay from 2 nights to 1 night. This place has everything and better amenities/facilities than hotels. Very good experience.
