This is a hidden gem in Japan! Peaceful sorroudings and close to the beach for swimming and surfing! You don't have to be a surfer to enjoy it here, although they offer lessons. Next time i will learn to surf! The hosts here are the best! On my first night i was invited to a local festival, and when I left checked out i realized i forgot my charger, and they promptly shipped it to my next destination! You can easily get here even if you don't have a car! Take the train or bus to Miyazaki, then take a local train that stops right next to the hostel! (just make sure to bring cash to pay the train driver) There's free bicycles to explore the area!

Sono and yuri were fantastic and made sure we were very comfortable. We booked an extra night cause we loved it so much. I recommend renting a car as it’s difficult to explore the area without one. Highly recommend.

The room is huge and clean, and has so comfy bed. overall is perfect with a good price. The hotel is not far from tourist attractions.

Inaugurada em Abril de 2014, após uma remodelação total, esta ryokan apresenta quartos espaçosos rodeados por montanhas tranquilas. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive and helpful. We had rented a car and in the morning we found that the staff had placed a cover over the wind screen to prevent frost from forming. We were impressed by their attention to detail.

Located in the town of Takachiho, with its dramatic gorge, shrines and nightly traditional dance performances, this moderately expensive ryokan features lovely gardens and excellent food. Our room was comfortable with a private outdoor hot spring bath with its own traditional garden. The hotel is owned and run by a family that makes sure that every detail is correct. They provided us with transport to the dance, which was good fun and, at our request, provided folding stools to sit on during the performance in place of having to sit on tatami mats.

The property was so spacious and clean. The lounge room was perfect for socialising. Each room had an aircon unit. Check in and check out was done on a table. Super quick and easy. Pre- checkin Instructions were clear and easy to understand. We wish we could have stayed longer.
