The property is the home of the owners and particularly attractive. It is well out of town but we did walk the full distance once - a local bus stops very close by at least hourly. The semi-rural setting is to us an advantage. The hosts are very pleasant people who clearly go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. In our case they were very generous beyond what was part of the deal.

The property is absolutely stunning, over 100 years old. Great location, helpful and lovely owner next door and stocked with everything you need. The outside bath in winter is perfection.

We felt so welcomed by our hosts, the rooms were in a really good condition and our private bathroom was a big highlight for us. The ryokan is a short 10 minute walk from Matsumoto castle away. There is a big mall and many cuty restaurants in walkable distance. Also the breakfast was authentic and tasted very good. We really enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend it to everyone.

The hotel location is quite nice. 1.7 km to Hakuba station, one Lawson nearby. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming plus they responded very promptly whenever we have any needs via chat. Lastly, the shuttle provided by the hotel was unforgettable that brought us to the restaurants and the parks. I wish I could come back again during the snow season.

I can not say enough good things about this property, it is a huge space for Japan, it was cozy and warm, it had a smart tv, toys for children, and comfy beds. I was a bit worried about the location when I booked it but the host picked us up, dropped us off, offered to take us to the supermarket and the hot springs and made us a delicious lunch and breakfast so it was not a problem at all. There is also a bus stop right outside.

A beautifully designed house with state of the art electronics! I was highly impressed with the microwave/oven, washer dryer. Sleeps 6 comfortably thought there is only one bathroom and a separate toilet. The house was kid friendly and both my kids loved sleeping on the futons on the split level above the movie room. The location was super convenient and there was parking directly at the property. Thank you to the very responsive staff who came at night to pass us more hangers as we had quite a bit of ski stuff to hang. Thank you for a lovely stay!
