Ome of the nicest host I have ever met, even when it was only briefly. I was even allowed to Check-In earlier. Just had to message her beforehand. Even when I forgot to my glasses after checkout, she went out of her way to send it to my next location and even called the hotels in order to confirm that it was possible. The house itself is tiny, as the name suggests, but it has everything that needs to be there. And it gives a really cute traditional Japanese House vibe. Lastly, she snuck in the cutest handwritten note into the package for my glasses. I don’t think I ever had a host this cute before. I definitely can recommend this stay and would book it every time again if I stayed in Suwa.

It’s perfect private part of villa, where you have all necessary. I like that the host has thought about all details there (like things for grill, sake and beer in the fridge). We made just a small stop there after monkey snow park and before Fuji, and this villa gave us a good rest.

We loved the friendly welcome. Staff super friendly and go out of their way to provide an excellent service. The property is traditional and beautiful. Rooms feel very authentic. We stayed here while visiting the Japanese Alps. Atsu was really friendly and helped us out a lot. We had to check in a bit later due to delays and also had a last minute diner during our stay. The room was spacious and the breakfast delicious. Really good curry, and was able to accommodate my wife with a gluten free meal for her (celiac). And we also got some really good advice for food for our next stay :). Thanks Atsu!
