If I could give 100 stars to this ryokan, I would do it! It was absolutely stunning experience in Nagano, the whole family and staff are extremely friendly, kind and polite. They receive lots of international travelers and they understand tourists needs. You MUST book dinners and breakfasts with them! It was amazing experience! On a practical note: rooms were authentic, hot water, heater were reliable. Location is superb, close to the temple and delicious snacks. This place is ideal for alternative travelers interested in local tradition and with the appreciation for culture and history: I wish the owners only the best customers!
