I slept on the last floor, so for guests carrying a big luggage, I recommend to bring a duffel bag or similar to bring your belongings upstairs. Although the owners did not hesitate for a second to bring my luggage, it was good sense to leave it on the ground floor and bringing only the items to be used (toiletry, pajamas, etc). The shared room has enough space to circulate. If you prefer to sleep in the dark, I recommend you bring the sleeping mask, as the lights remain on until the last guest sleeps. The shower is good , and you will have a nice hot water. The location is very close to the train station and to the Sanjo Dori street.

Japanese-style rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Overall experience was great! Clean, fantastic location, excellent customer service, free cultural activities, stayed in a private tatami room with private bed it was a great experience for us (they have private rooms with beds too). There’s a public bath, enjoyed the origami activity and cosmo play, did not get the chance to do calligraphy. 10 minutes walk from nearest train station, very central location, well equipped shared kitchen facilities if you want to heat up or prepare meals. Very close to deer park (it’s a huge park), right next to Sarusawa pond which you can enjoy while having coffee at starbucks (lovely starbucks location) . I think this property is in high demand so if your dates are available, book it!

Breakfast was delicious. The shared areas were clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful older Japanese house which made the stay even more special.

I had Osaka City planned, I Had Nara park planned, but my personal favorite part of my first trip to this area, was Ikoma and this adorable Ryokan. I could have sat there in my room looking out the window for weeks. A conversation with the owner alone is worth the price of admission. This place is charming in all capital letters. Ikoma and Yamato are truly gems.

It is situated 37 km from Mihara History Museum and features a shared kitchen. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. Surprisingly good mostly everything, very spacious room, clean, good size bed and very comfortable. Very nice and comfortable bathroom too. We didn't really met with the hosts but they had a great system getting the keys with clear instructions. We're certainly very happy.
