O Nara Visitor Centre and Inn está situado no centro de Nara, a apenas 3 minutos a pé do Templo Kofuku-ji e Naramachi. So far, this has been the highlight of our trip to Japan! The hotel is amazing — beautifully located with stunning views, and full of charm. There are plenty of free activities to enjoy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay in the traditional Japanese room; it was such a special experience and we honestly regret not booking more nights. The onsen was a wonderful bonus, and having a konbini attached to the hotel was super convenient. Nara itself is a magical place, and staying here made it even better. Highly recommended!

It’s a lovely place, run by very kind people. Breakfast was delicious. The shared areas were clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful older Japanese house which made the stay even more special.

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, the staff at Shikitei do everything they can to make sure your stay is perfect. Welcomed by a tea ceremony, we were then introduced to our suite the size of a house. Extremely comfortable with everything you need and the accommodation borders on Nara Deer Park and only a 10 minute walk to the train station or the historic district.

Shionome house fica em Ikuma e fornece acomodação com Wi-Fi grátis, ar-condicionado e acesso a um jardim com terraço. Iwafune Shrine fica a 7,2 km de distância e Nozaki Kannon Shrine fica a 10 km. I loved it there, it felt like home. Both of them were very nice, I don’t know a lot of Japanese but we still managed to talk on Japanese and English and they were so lovely! We found some same interests that we all liked so it was even easier to talk. Really really nice owners. You can also meet a lot of other people there from all around the world and I personally didn’t mind waiting for the bathroom. Breakfast was very delicious and always different! I really can’t say anything bad maybe my best stay in Japan until now and will try to come back again and see how my new friends are doing. You can rent towels or a toothbrush or bring your own. I felt like home and wish i stayed longer. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Kanko Ryokan Yamato fornece acomodação com Wi-Fi grátis e estacionamento privativo grátis em Ikuma. Iwafune Shrine fica a 8,8 km de distância. It was the best four days in my three weeks visiting in Japan. This ryokan is very cosy. Though everything looked authentic and traditional all the facilities weren't old, but instead very clean an modern. The breakfast was very tasty and there was variety each day. If you don't take the cable car (station is right next to the ryokan) you'll get a good workout each day, when you explore the surroundings - mainly the beautiful temples. There are many stairs! After a day of waking, relaxing in the onsen was the highlight of my day. But the best thing was the very friendly owner and staff. Even though I couldn't speak Japanese they helped me with everything and were really caring. I will definitely be back! :)

お宿さつき奈良五條 fica em Gojō, a 29 km de Subaru Hall e a 37 km de Tanpi Shrine. Com lounge compartilhado, esta casa de hóspedes tem quartos com ar-condicionado, Wi-Fi grátis e banheiro privativo. We had an unforgettable stay at Satsuki! The host is truly a heartwarming person – incredibly kind, caring, and always there when you need help. After we got lost while hiking, he kindly came to pick us up. We also had some amazing, heartfelt conversations with him – such a beautiful and thoughtful soul! He speaks perfect English and gave us great insider tips and restaurant recommendations. Thanks to him, we had the best Okonomiyaki at a nearby local spot – so delicious and unique! It was a completely different experience from Tokyo, where things often felt more impersonal. Here, everything was filled with warmth and sincerity. We also enjoyed a typical Japanese breakfast, which was simple, delicious, and such a special experience. It’s those little moments that make a Japan trip feel truly complete and authentic. The house is cozy, peaceful, and perfect for hiking. There are supermarkets nearby, and the whole area has a romantic and relaxing vibe. It’s an ideal place for couples, nature lovers, or anyone seeking a quiet break from the big cities. We felt completely at home and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for making our stay so special – this place and its people will stay in our hearts!
