Takeo Onsen is such a charming town, and Yujiro (and his family) made my stay there even more fantastic. Yujiro, the owner, contacted me even before my stay with amazing recommendations such as restaurants and attractions in Takeo Onsen area. He even assisted in booking a table for me at an marvelous restaurant. Thank you for making my Takeo Onsen experience truly amazing, Yurijo. In addition, the location of the guesthouse in ideal as you can walk to many places such as the famous tree, the library and the onsen itself. Also, the room is spacious and the bed is comfy. I slept like a rock. Before I left, I had an insightful and fun conversation with Yurijo. Thank you again. Hope to see you and stay at the guesthouse again.

Unsui 武雄蓬莱町 雲水 terletak di daerah Takeo Onsen bagi Takeo, 37km dari Huis Ten Bosch, kurang dari 1 km dari Stesen Takeo-Onsen dan 10km dari Takeo Ureshino Marchen Village. We had a lovely time staying in this traditional Japanese style apartment. It is tidy and spacious, has lots of details hidden around the corners. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful, provided detailed suggestions about placed worth visiting in Takeo and even guided us to see fireflies at night. The day we checkout out of the apartment we forgot backpack on the bus, the host was kind enough to contact the bus company for us right away. This is by far the most pleasant stay we ever had in any country.

The owner was super welcoming and friendly! He even gave us a gift (a painting he made himself!) just before we departed. The Guest House itself was very unique and traditional. It was comfortable with heaters around the house to keep you warm, and a cute cat to roaming about.

Suzy is an exceptional host and made me feel at home straight away. So lovely. Also all of her tips for everything around were amazing.

Hotel Imari Aioibashi Bettei terletak di Imari, 28km dari Huis Ten Bosch dan 19km dari Taman Porcelain Arita. The view from the room overlooking the river and bridge. Perfect for viewing the festival and fireworks. As a textile lover, I was very happy with the kimono shops in the street.

Terletak di Kashima, 47km dari Taman Bersejarah Yoshinogari, Guest House Maru mempunyai penginapan dengan taman, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan bar. I booked a room here as I was traveling to Japan to play a Pokemon Go event in Nagasaki. I had a wonderful time in this house and the charming, little town it is in. It’s like staying in a beautiful, ancestral home of a Japanese family. I actually lowered my expectations for a bit because it’s not a hotel, but even then I was surprised by how well-kept, sparkly clean everything is. I shared the house with 3 other guests who are also in Japan to play Pokemon Go, and yet I didn’t see a single strand of hair left in the bathroom, a smidge of stain in the toilet, and I didn’t hear noise at night. It’s family-run and they do everything by themselves. I was coming in from Fukuoka Airport and it took me a while to figure out the trains and the transfers I would take to get to Kashima and arrived late at 8:30PM, it’s way past check in time but even then I had a warm welcome from the owner, Mr Maru. He showed me where the restaurants are, which places to visit, where the nearest 7-eleven is. He even let me in the staff-only area of the kitchen when he noticed that I brought dinner that I needed to reheat from 7-eleven. In the morning I met his older sister in the kitchen and she made me breakfast. She showed me where Yutoku Inari shrine is which I planned to visit on that day. I rented a bicycle at the Hizen-Hama station which is just like 150 meters from the house and biked around Kashima, ate Mikan ice cream, until I reached Yutoku Inari shrine. It is an amazing place. In the evening when I returned the bike at Hizen-Hama station, I went to its Sake bar which serves all the sake this little town produces and I was warmly welcomed even though I don’t speak a word of Nihongo. I tried all the types of sake that they have as I knew I can get smashed and still find my way home because the house is just a stone’s throw away from the station. Overall I had a pretty amazing experience and would gladly visit again.

Karatsu Seaside Hotel menawarkan penginapan di Higashi Karatsu. Anda boleh menjamu selera di restoran di hotel. Setiap bilik di hotel ini berhawa dingin dan dilengkapi dengan TV skrin rata. We were given a free upgrade to our room on arrival. The food (buffet) was very tasty. The spa area is large and it wasn't that busy, when we were there. Perfect to relax for a few days. Any time again.
