Located in Nikko, 18 km from Tobu Nikko Station, K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. The property was a great place for travelers to rest, with comfortable spaces in the cafeteria room and balcony porch. The view of the whiting rapid river was breathtaking! We also loved the peaceful outside onsen.

Facilities like the coffee bar were nice, staff were exceptional and our room was very nice. Since the hotel is a bit out of the way, it is necessary to reserve a small shuttle down to the town center. The reservation system for the shuttle is difficult to navigate on a cell phone. I managed to book one spot instead of two for the trip to the station. The lovely lady at the front desk realized my mistake and notified the manager who personally drove us down to the station. Just Wow! We will be back!

Cozy Inn is an excelent place to stay while touring Nikko and its surroundings. The room is clean, with Air conditioner, an ideal place to rest after a long day walking the temples in Nikko. Hiro is a fantastic host and deserves all the praises received in the other comments. If I ever come back to Nikko, I’m staying here. No doubt.

Situated within 38 km of Nikko Station and 38 km of Tobu Nikko Station, Guesthouse Kincha 駅東口 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Utsunomiya. The place is just a few minutes walk from JR station which is super convenient. The host is friendly and helpful, sharing lots of information about the city with me. The restroom and toilet is clean with shampoo and body wash provided. The bed is spacious enough and comfortable. I will definitely come back in the future!

Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ is set in Nikko, 10 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, 27 km from Kegon Falls, as well as 10 km from Rinno-ji Temple. The owner was super friendly. The place was super clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. Overall was a very nice place. Even some snacks are offer for free which was a nice touch :)
