It is just 2 minutes walk from temple 11. The owner is a nice, friendly and helpful gentleman. He offered all the information about the Shikoku Pilgrimage to me. The accomodation is new and comfortable. Breakfast is included. You can ride the bicycle offered by the accomodation to nearby supermarket to get all you needed. There is also bag delivery service which would deliver the bag to the next accomodation after temple 12, so that you need not to take the heavy luggage to climb the mountain.

Cosmos Guesthouse Iya Valley biedt kamers met airconditioning in de wijk Iya Onsen in Akano, en ligt op 47 km van Sanuki Mannou Park. I liked everything about this accommodation. It was very clean, had all the amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a beautiful traditional guesthouse surrounding by nature, small gorge and tea plantation. I don’t know why people were complaining about the distance between the station and the guesthouse, the walk in between the station and the guesthouse is beautiful and refreshing. It’s just a beautiful valley with beautiful scenic views from every side. The owner also offered a pick up and drop off service. His family also picked me and other travelers for the local Yokai festival and I had an amazing time at the festival. I highly recommend this guesthouse. Due to time constraints, I couldn’t do the kayaking activity with the owner but next time I come back, I will definitely do. Thank you.

Iya Kankou Ryokan bevindt zich in Miyoshi, op 37 km van Tsurugi-san Chairlift, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een gedeelde lounge. Excellent place for those who want to visit iya valley without overspending on hotels. Very nice lady that knows and remembers every small detail. It was our anniversary so she even got us a very large plate of 2 full cakes (amazing cakes) and fruit as a surprise for us (her own initiative). This lady is something else she almost felt like our grandma ! She has insane style to the place and offers a lot of food and different paid snacks. Has great breakfast. She does it all by herself. Amazing. Would recommend. 10/10

The house is next to the beach, enjoy the quietness and peacefulness here, with clean room and bath room. kitchen is well equipped, and user friendly, Cozy common area. morning or sunset walk is more than welcome here, few beaches around here. We enjoy the stay a lot!

The place was also cozy and homey, great for a weekend getaway.

Ichi The Hostel is gelegen in Minamicho, op 48 km van station Tokushima, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Great location. I visited the Sea Turtle Museum which was a short walk from the hostel. The facilities were clean and well equipped. My room was comfortable. I also enjoyed the rooftop deck and the views.

Guest House Mitsuka ligt in Shishikui, op 22 km van Mollusco Mugi Museum, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Yukiko is een geweldige gastvrouw. Ze kookt met liefde, ontzettend smaakvol en verfijnd. Daarnaast spreekt ze ook nog een goed woordje Engels.
