There was a Mega Don Quijote store right across the street, and another Don Quijote inside the plaza where the hotel is located. Besides that, it was in a very central part of Shibuya. However, if you plan to use the subway or arrive from the airport with luggage, walking from the station to the hotel might be a bit difficult, since it’s not right next to the station but about a 5–6 minute walk. I’d recommend keeping that in mind. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very helpful. We had a few different situations with our luggage, and they assisted us every time. We honestly couldn’t find any negative points about the hotel. The only thing is that it was a bit expensive compared to nearby hotels. Also, the room was somewhat small. Did it work for us? Yes, because I kept the room very tidy. But if you don’t keep things as organized, you might feel a bit cramped with luggage. Still, it wasn’t a big problem.

Das Hotel hat eine perfekte Lage (direkt neben der Bahnstation Akihabara) - super praktisch, um schnell überall in Tokio hinzukommen. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet - es gab sogar eine Badewanne. Im Foyer konnte man sich hierzu sogar gratis Badesalz etc. mitnehmen. Check-In und Check-Out waren super easy und es wurden am letzten Tag sogar unsere Koffer bis abends aufbewahrt :) Würden hier jederzeit wieder übernachten!

We had a great stay at Tokyo (2 parents + 6yo, 4yo and a 4mo baby). Staff was kind and very helpful whenever we needed something. There is a Family Mart close by where I got us breakfast everyday, and the microwave in the room fits the Avent sterilizator. The baby bed was of good quality (not just a camping crib).
