I didn't have much expectations of the hotel, and my selection of it was based simply on location (closeness to center) and guests reviews. Boy were my expectation exceeded! Was surprised to see how big and new and modern it was. Plus the staff were friendly and helpful, special mention to front desk staff Patrick and Thong. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends!

Usually when i stay at hotels i don't sleep well on the first night due things being different but the mattresses and pillows were SO Comfortable that we were both asleep by 9:30 and slept right through

Located within 700 metres of Laos National Museum and 1.4 km of Wat Sisaket, House Of Jars provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Vientiane. I liked everything about the place. The location was great, close to many shops, restaurants and night markets. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bed was big, thick and soft. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. The cafe was chill and cosy. Their free breakfast, even though small, was really balanced and showed great care and attention to details. Even other guests who stayed at the hostel during the time I was there seemed to be polite and thoughtful people who were mindful enough to keep noise to a minimum. I had never slept that well in a hostel before. Some say the place is not great for socialising, but that is just perfect for an introvert like me.
