Just a 10 minute walk from Galle train and bus station so about 15 minutes to the fort. A good supermarket just around the corner. Excellent breakfast. The host aims to please and is happy to help with anything.

The place is located on a beautiful beach. 2 minuts from the center, in a more quiet area. everything was very clean. staff is very nice. the Owner was there all the time, keeping attention.

Sisi's place was fantastic, it was pretty much right on the beach and they've fitted it out with everything you could need or want. The bed was super comfy (comfiest pillows we've had the whole trip), they had hanging racks both inside and outside on the balcony to dry any swimming gear, and they had chairs and tables both inside and on the balcony (which had a great view of the train tracks and to the sea). The fridge was so handy, there was a wardrobe, and a dresser/mirror, the room and balcony were so spacious, they had both a fan and and air conditioner which worked great! The room was so clean. The bathroom was great and they also had a squeegee which is an awesome touch with the open shower (hot water works not that you need it). Both hosts were so lovely, and the breakfast was delicious. We also got a lift to and from the turtle sanctuary for a great price. Honestly one of the most comfortable places we stayed. Also a great location. Can't recommend it enough.

1. Hotel is fresh and new and of really a good quality. Nothing experienced heavy usage like in Riff - the only real 5* competitor on Hikka beach 2. I got Deluxe suite with Seaview for the price of a regular room cos the hotel just started to work and had not much of guests. 3. Room has excellent sleeping conditions which is rare on Shri: blind curtains & you can sleep with ac on without a risk to catch cold. Priceless.

The Waves Unawatuna is located on the beachfront in Unawatuna, a few steps from Unawatuna Beach and 4 miles from Galle International Cricket Stadium.

Our stay was great! Everything went smoothly, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfasts were varied. The place is quiet, and we had no disturbances at night.
