Situated in Trincomalee, 700 metres from Nilaveli Beach, Blu Marine Nilaveli features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. Large, clean, comfy room overlooking the green courtyard. Extremely helpful and friendly, knowledgeable staff who arranged motor scooter hire, a snorkeling trip, and a tut tut back into Trincomalee bus station on our final day. All the food was delicious, choice of Sri Lankan or western breakfast, and we were able to buy beer at the restaurant. A short walk from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and whole heartedly recommend this accommodation - it’s good value for money for the size of room. A tut tut into the city costs SLR $1500-2000

We stayed two nights at Adaar from 27th January and had a truly wonderful experience. Everything was excellent—especially the location, food, and the hospitality of the staff, who were absolutely amazing. A special thank you to Manager Mr. Brian, Mr. Sadeepa, and Mr. Jayantha for being so supportive and attentive throughout our stay. On our first day, we were the only guests in the entire hotel, which made the experience even more peaceful and unique. If you’re looking to take a break from a busy schedule, this is the perfect place (with a private beach) to relax and unwind. The calm and quiet atmosphere is exactly what you need. As a lovely surprise, we were gifted a beautiful and delicious cake, which made our stay even more special. If you’re searching for a serene, quiet, and relaxing getaway, Adaar is definitely the best option. We will definitely return and stay here again.

Amazing staff who create a very social environment, great well equipped rooms, and perfect location 2 minutes walk from the main beach. They keep the rooms clean everyday, organize hostel meals and social evenings, and just make you feel at home. Been there for almost a week after extending my stay three times. Highly recommended for solo travelers!

Situated within 800 metres of Nilaveli Beach and 3.8 km of Pigeon Island National Park in Nilaveli, JEYs Place provides accommodation with seating area. Jey's Place is fantastic. The owner Jey, chef Justin and Prasanth make sure you have a great stay. The apartments are clean and calm and the garden area really stands out in the street, it's really pretty. We stayed for 2 nights, but we would have loved to stay more. It's always fully booked, and rightfully so. If you are going to Nilaveli, this is the place to stay!

Set in Trincomalee, 1.2 km from Sampalthivu Beach, Nature Beach Huts offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, an open-air bath and free bikes. Everything was just perfect! Quiet place close to a nice beach with a very shallow water. One can walk at low tide to Nilaveli beach (15 min walk). Brenda was a perfect, talkative and helpful host as well as an excellent cook. One can refill bottles with a drinking water at the property. Nice well equipped huts with comfortable bed. 10 and 15 min by tuk tuk to Upuveli and Trinco, respectively. Surprisingly no mosquitoes (the first place without them during our 3 weeks travels in Sri Lanka). If you look for peaceful quite oasis this place is for you. Highly recommended!
