Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the smooth organization to the friendly and welcoming spirit of the entire team. The staff was professional, supportive, and inspiring. But we cannot express our appreciation without giving special thanks to a remarkable individual who left a lasting impact—Mr. Nishantha. Mr. Nishantha, a dedicated wildlife scientist, was far more than just a guide. He was our window into the natural world. Through his vast knowledge, genuine passion, and ability to explain even the most complex concepts with ease, he transformed every moment into an educational and meaningful journey. His presence added a whole new dimension to the experience, deepening our respect and understanding of nature. Thank you all for your outstanding efforts. We sincerely hope to relive such extraordinary experiences again in the future.

Offering a restaurant and swimming pool, My Village is located just 900 metres from Tissa Wewa. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas and the rooms of the property. Garden setting with a lovely swimming pool, friendly staff and good food. Really nice energy at this property with other guest being inspired to be social and friendly. Owner made us feel totally at home.

We spent two nights of our honeymoon at Art Yala, and everything was perfect. The property is stunning, with beautiful lake views, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. We enjoyed every moment of our time there. Madu also organized an amazing safari experience for us. Highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to return soon!

The rooms are spacious and clean, and have a balcony with a beautiful view to rice fields. The pool is really nice. Great value for money. The owners helped organize the full day safari. Really great tour (we saw 2 leopards) with a guide that doesn’t follow the crowds and truly explores the park. The location is not super close to centre but they have bicycles we can use (just a 20min bike ride)

I will give this a 10/10 out of how much the owner provided for me. The view outside is amazing, just in front of the lake. So peaceful! So the room was okay. But the best thing for me was that the owner provided me a free tour around the place, watching sunset, crocodiles, bats and owls. He also took me to the atm, supermarket, and picked me up from the bus when arriving. Everything for free. And I can also recommend going with the safari that he is providing. That guide was also amazing, experienced, and affordable.

The host was really nice and helpful - he tried everything to make us feel comfortable. He helped us booking the safari to Yala which was awesome! He even made us coffee before we left to the safari at 4:30 am! After we got a fruit shake at the guesthouse from his wife, so yummy! His wife cooked a wonderful dinner for us, local and super yummy! The room was really clean and comfortable, there was AC and hot water. The guesthouse in general looks really nice, the host takes good care of it. He had two bikes for us so we could see the area - lakes, rice fields, stupas , there’s a lot to see! Thanks for the stay, we enjoyed it a lot!
