Featuring a garden, a restaurant as well as a bar, NaNa Vida Hotel Oaxaca is located in the centre of Oaxaca City, 10 km from Monte Alban. One of the best hotels I've been to in Mexico so far! It's a very nice mixture of local culture and modern equipment/style and we felt very comfortable. It's quiet and central at the same time and the staff was very polite and welcoming - with for example a welcome and goodbye gift, a glas of Mezcal upon arrival, the offer of free bottled water several times during our stay and a candy bar in the common area. A nice breakfast in the patio is included, with the option to add some eggs or Mexican dishes for a bit of extra money. So we had an overall nice experience and can totally recommend the hotel :)

Casa Badú has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Puerto Escondido. The hotel also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Laura and Ulises (and Chula, their dog) were amazing hosts, super accommodating and were very helpful when we had travel difficulties from Oaxaca. They have great contacts for experiences in the area, we recommend surfing! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and we loved the ‘guest house’ vibe and laid back nature. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas available for use which was really helpful in the heat. The location was great, near lots of restaurants and bars and just a short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. The pool and view of the beach and sunsets made for a perfect stay.

Casa 821 Guest House is a recently renovated homestay in the centre of Oaxaca City, 7.4 km from Monte Alban and 46 km from Mitla. It is set 1 km from Oaxaca Cathedral and features a concierge service.... Amazing property! We loved all the facilities and the staff were so helpful and replied instantly when we had questions about transport. Very comfortable, clean and great value for money. Highly recommend

Set in the centre of Oaxaca City, 8.4 km from Monte Alban, Suites Independencia Oaxaca offers air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. It is located 45 km from Mitla and provides a 24-hour front desk. The staff were beyond helpful and very nice, perfect location close to the centro and easy walking distance, they let us store our luggage during a little walk about after checkout during our stay, THANK YOU!

Casa Chula Hotel Boutique Frente al Mar features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and terrace in Tierra Blanca. I loved how green the hotel area wI as. Everything was super clean and exceeded our expectations. We visited other places on the coast, and this one felt special. First, I thought it would bother us nothing is happening there, and there are no restaurants, but this was not the case at all. I would bring more fresh food next time as the kitchen was well equipped for cooking

Located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca region, Quiote Quiote is situated 500 metres from Bacocho Beach. Very nice and clean small apartments in a quiet location. It is very close from the airport and the next beach is about a 10 minute walk away. Diego was a very friendly and helpful host who really cared for our wellbeing and feeling comfortable.
