Very kind staff - extremely helpful and reliable. Got me in touch with an airport taxi that would take credit card. Gave me a wakeup call.

Located in Bernal and with Bernal's Boulder reachable within 1.4 km, Traspatio Hotel Boutique provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. This is a family owned and operated hotel which makes it special and personal even though it is not a hotel in a building that looks like an old house. The two brothers we met, Juan and Rafa, were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. They made us feel like family. The room was simple but spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The patios and terraces, on several different levels, were beautiful affording good views of Bernal's famous monolith and the dome of the church in the center of town. Breakfast is cooked to order, there is a lovely lounge with a large- screen TV and the ability to make tea or coffee round the clock. The hotel provides an airport shuttle any time. The family also owns The Rocca restaurant in town. We had traditional Mexican food there suggested by Juan and also some of the freshest, most delicious pizzas we have ever had.

Set in Bernal, 1.8 km from Bernal's Boulder, Hotel Boutique Sacramento offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. We stayed just one night, but from the moment we arrived, we were saying, "We should have stayed two nights!" We loved this hotel. We got a room with a view and WOW the view of the Pena did not disappoint. The room was big, bathroom was big. We got the room with the jacuzzi and balcony, and it was the perfect way to unwind after climbing the giant rock and walking all over the place. Location is great. It's less than a 2-minute walk from where the bus drops you from Queretaro, and a 5- to 7-minute walk into the centro/Pena. Right next to a well-appointed convenience store that is open til 11p.m. The wine in the room was such a nice touch. Jacuzzi was so relaxing, wi-fi functioned well enough in the room and on the patio. Room was sparkling clean, and the property is beautiful and well maintained. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They were also kind enough to let us stash our bags on our final day after checkout and before the bus left.
