You have to have a car or take a taxi to get there because it is a little ways out of Ajijic, but if you are looking to just relax at a hotel with a pool this is a wonderful place. The pool area is beautiful, the staff is very helpful, and the breakfast buffet on the weekend was great. I have stayed here once on a weekend and once during the week, and during the week the bar and restaurant close really early and the breakfast is not as complete since it's not buffet, but it was still nice. But if I went back I would definitely go on the weekend to be able to have the poolside bar and restaurant until the evening and the buffet breakfast.
