It is regularly visited by elephants that you can spot really closely just by standing in the main area or at the restaurant. The rooms are super comfortable, food is high-quality and staff is very nice. We also did the rhino tracking and we managed to spot one rhino. The guides are really professional and the experience feels totally authentic.

Khowarib Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Khowarib. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. All rooms come with a patio. The remote and quiet location, offering yet a nice pool and delicious food. The tents are comfortable 😉

Good re-imagination of the old Fort. Big trees in the yard. Great view from the tower. Good food. Friendly people. Ernest is the perfect guide for a drive into the Hoanib river bed and visiting the desert elephants. We did this in our own car.
