This cottage in a (large, beautiful) garden was immensely cozy. We spent far too much time lounging in front of the fireplace watching the flames and the birds outside of the window. We were even lucky to have snow! The bed was exactly as we prefer it: soft but not overly so. The shower had the perfect amount of water pressure too. Really, we felt spoilt. Talking about spoilt, our host Werner was an absolute gentleman and took great care of us. For breakfast we were treated to fresh buns from the local bakery, eggs, fruit, ham, cheese and marmalade. Probably not served all year, but we also got Christmas Stol! Final note, while offered various beverages, Werner upon hearing we preferred tea, surprised us with a different tea each morning - wonderful!

A well equipped kitchen, a fantastic bed, a great view and an excellent bathroom. the party lights at night.... wonderful detail. The way this apartment was constructed from a hay storage shed is clearly visible making it incredibly charming. The hostess was instantly available if there was a question. I am extremely happy with this stay.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and very clean. We arrived soaking wet from cycling in the rain and the host so nice to us. Quick check in and the place was very warm when we arrived. Our bikes were safely stored in the shed. The breakfast was amazing. Fantastic stay!!
