The beautiful endless beach is just across the street. Dogs are allowed on the beach. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Boutique hotel Charley's is situated at the market, right in the centre of Westkapelle. With the beach only a few steps away, you can easily go for a swim after the free breakfast buffet. Very warm, helpful and hospitable staff members, super clean room, great location (really close to the beach) and an amazing breakfast buffet.

The B&B rooms are located in a former barn, and it was recently completely renovated as B&B. The building, the rooms and the general public areas are all really nice and feel luxurious. The beds are comfortable and the mattrasses are quite long, which is convenient to my length of almost 2 meters. The host is friendly and welcoming, The breakfast is not a buffet, but a ready to order choice of 4 or 5 different breakfast options, like a pancake breakfast, an English breakfast, a local Zeeuws breakfast, etc. We had the English breakfast and it was delicious. The town of Kats is just a small little village with not much to do, so if you come for rest and quiet, the B&B is perfect. But if you do want activities, there is plenty to do in the nearby area, with larger towns like Zierikzee and Goes nearby, and water sports in de Oosterschelde and Veerse meer.

The breakfast was very good, with two options available either egg, meat/cheese and breads or a yogurt-based option. The location was easy to find with plenty of parking outside the back gate. The restroom and shower were great.
