Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Excellent place to stay in the Arctic! The perfect cozy climate inside, complimentary tea & coffee which helps you to warm yourself after roaming in the city and surroudings. One of the guys from the personnel even advised us when seeing some extraordinary polar lights to come out - and we've got a show of our life. Neat clean bathrooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. The hotel itself is close to some attractions and the city center. Would definitely recommend! The restaurant Vinterhagen is an additional gem - I enjoyed the seal steak and my wife the vegan option. Should I come back to Longyearbyen - I would definitely choose Mary-Ann Polarrig again :) Keep doing good job!

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. A luxurious hotel with a beautiful wooden interior. It feels like a log cabin in the woods. The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. We're so glad we stayed here!

Situated in Longyearbyen, Longyearbyen Apartment features accommodation 1.3 km from Svalbard Museum. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. BEST. STAY. EVER! I have been to Longyearbyen before, but stayed in a hotel. This time I was traveling with my mom, and wanted some place a little bigger. This apartment popped up and it turned out to be the best place we stayed during our entire arctic trip! The host was incredibly communicative, and helped us out with a few hiccups that happened during our stay. The apartment is incredibly spacious and clean, and the beds are amazingly comfortable! It was so cozy, and there was a helpful little pamphlet explaining everything that you may need to know about the space. It's easy to get to the center of town, about a 3-5 min walk to the coop, Stationen, etc. Again, the host was AMAZING, and I cannot recommend this place enough! We even got lucky enough to see the northern lights off the balcony on a few nights during our stay! Love, love, LOVED this place and this host!

Situated in Pyramiden, Hotel Pyramiden features a bar. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. The rooms are refurbished, warm, quiet, exceedingly comfortable, and have a great view. The restaurant's chef is very talented and his food is super tasty! But best of all is the incredible staff - Anna, Yana, Igor and Anatoliy. Their friendliness, amazing positivity, helpful attitudes and guidance made my stay incredibly memorable. They are the beating heart of the establishment and I appreciated the kindness and warmth they extended to me. They also organise adventures with Constantine, who can show you the best spots around Pyramiden and is just the most decent, fun, and knowledgable companion to explore with! Two nights was not long enough of a stay, a hotel not to be missed.

Clean and friendly hostel with good kitchen, showers, laundry machine. Comfy beds, good pillows, amazing staff. We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. We will be back! Thank you!

Radisson Blu Polar Hotel is the northernmost full-service hotel in the world, located in Longyearbyen. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The only comment is that I stayed in a separate building to the reception, and there was no lift, so I had to carry my suitcases up the stairs, no big deal though. Other than that, the room was clean, spacious. The location was very good, close to everything in a walking distance.
