Set in the Skjæringa area of Longyearbyen, Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is built with old rigs. Central Longyearbyen is between 6-8 minutes walk away and the airport bus stops right in front of the hotel. Absolutely everything, one of the best places i've ever stayed in.

Centrally located in Longyearbyen, Basecamp Hotel is a traditional trapper's lodge-style property just 15 minutes’ drive from Longyearbyen Airport. The airport bus stops right outside. The property is very unique in terms of the look & feel of the boutique hotel. Not too big but tastefully made. No shoes allowed inside so it stays clean thru out. Nice breakfast.

Situated in Longyearbyen, Longyearbyen Apartment features accommodation 1.3 km from Svalbard Museum. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. BEST. STAY. EVER! I have been to Longyearbyen before, but stayed in a hotel. This time I was traveling with my mom, and wanted some place a little bigger. This apartment popped up and it turned out to be the best place we stayed during our entire arctic trip! The host was incredibly communicative, and helped us out with a few hiccups that happened during our stay. The apartment is incredibly spacious and clean, and the beds are amazingly comfortable! It was so cozy, and there was a helpful little pamphlet explaining everything that you may need to know about the space. It's easy to get to the center of town, about a 3-5 min walk to the coop, Stationen, etc. Again, the host was AMAZING, and I cannot recommend this place enough! We even got lucky enough to see the northern lights off the balcony on a few nights during our stay! Love, love, LOVED this place and this host!

The view from the apartment was super , mountains full of snow just a hands distance .The location was perfect , in the city center , all amenities in the kitchen were fantastic , everything was there tea , coffee , oil ,sugar and many many more items in the kitchen free to use The TV, washing machine ,dryer and dishwasher were in perfect condition .We used all and were very satisfied . The house was independent with a separate entrance . The check in was very comfortable and easy . The host Mr Pier was very good helped and answered all our queries to our satisfaction . He called every day to know our whereabouts. Informed us about local conditions . We felt very safe .

Situated in Pyramiden, Hotel Pyramiden features a bar. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Guests can have a drink at the snack bar. Such high quality of everything at such a remote location. The staff was great, doing an excellent job of running the place. The food was so delicious: the breakfast, the dinner, and also the freshly baked cookies and cakes in the community building. A special treat was watching movies about the history of this remarkable place in the evening, in the comfortable sofas of the bar area. The rooms are clean and simple. I initially worried a bit staying there would become boring, since there is no internet, and it is not possible to leave the hotel on your own (because of the possibility of polar bears). I was wrong: Multiple guided tours could be booked on the spot, visiting different areas of the settlement (or, in summer, even the surroundings, but I was there in October, with snow already covering the landscape). I highly recommend this place, run so professionally by the staff.

Clean and friendly hostel with good kitchen, showers, laundry machine. Comfy beds, good pillows, amazing staff. We recommend a longer stay in Barentsburg to taste some of its vibe of humble, genuine, peaceful, friendly creativity in an amazing setting. We stayed one week, could easily have stayed longer. We will be back! Thank you!
