I stayed here in mid-September 2025. The motel reflects the province of Southland – spacious and hospitable. The management were very accommodating and flexible. The rates were very reasonable. Included in the rate, free of charge was the location. Very near Queens Park (for those ex-pats visiting home) and very near the CBD, all within easy walking distance. Big rooms, very clean, comfortable, parking and safe (despite Invercargill being a very safe spot anyway), and a very quiet area. Easy to find and to drive into.

The hotel is super modern right in the center of Invercargill. Minutes walking distance to Motorcycle Mecca and E Hayes and Sons, and a 25min walk to the Water Tower (all of which we wanted to see). There is no free parking onsite but valet parking is available or maybe you're lucky enough to find paid streetside parking nearby. The Queen Studio was exactly as advertised. We didn´t use the in room cooking facilities but we did use the washing machine and for that detergent was provided. Nespresso machine and capsules were also provided. Beds were very comfortable. We ate in the hotel restaurant, which was very busy, and the food was delicious. Excellent stay.

The unit was a lot bigger than we expected. It was also really clean and had all the facilities you would need. They also supply heated mattress which definitely was a huge bonus during the winter.
