One Burgess Hill offers a choice of 15 self-contained units overlooking the stunning Waiwhakaiho River and native landscape. Incredible hospitality from the team. The location is close to everywhere yet still rural, which allows contact with nature and animals and offers great scenery on the property. I would rate it 10 out of 10 and will call it a retreat.

Located in New Plymouth in the Taranaki region, with Fitzroy Beach and Te Rewa Rewa Bridge nearby, The Residence - Fitzroy provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The property is located in a commercial part of Fitzroy which made it easy to shop and eat and do laundry. Parking was in a lot adjacent to the building which was easy. It’s located near 2 golf courses which was good for us. We wanted to explore the National park which was located just south of New Plymouth within 30 minutes to an hour drive depending on what part. The unit #8 itself was an upper floor with a flight of stairs, no elevator so be sure you check which unit you have if you have mobility issues. It’s the smallest so it doesn’t have a washer or a dishwasher or a dining area. The kitchen has a microwave and fridge and what you need to eat but no stovetop. It was fine for us but you may want a larger unit.

The view from the veranda over the adjacent farm at sunset was beautiful, and the host was very friendly. The unit was very clean and tidy, had everything you needed, including a full kitchen (even an air fryer!).

Mary the hostess was lovely & friendly & most helpful. It was a cozy home with everything you would need. Breakfast selection was very good. Included gluten free options for my coeliac daughter. Most grateful for that.

It was a newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment with a shared bathroom in a block of two. Well equipped kitchen with good quality coffee plunger with large fridge freezer. Excellent leather couch & generous shower. Easy to park at front. Very close to everything. Nice elevated outlook from bedrooms.

Boasting lake views, Mangorei Heights - New Plymouth features accommodation with patio, around 19 km from Yarrow Stadium. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Everything! Quiet, very clean and so comfortable! So glad we got to stay 2 nights. We able to recharge due to a rainy day! But loved sitting drinking wine and watching the rain! The outside tub was fabulous! It was great after a long hike! The owners were awesome and were there if you needed anything! Thank you again for sharing your home with us!
