The location is great and very calm but yet, only 5 minutes in taxi boat from the main area. The owners are extremely nice and helpful and their food was excellent

The location is gorgeous, the cabin was beautifully appointed. We loved everything about the ecolodge. Dinner was always excellent. There were monkeys and red frogs. (We didn’t see the caimans).

With garden views, Carmen's place is located in Bastimentos and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar and garden. The property features sea and lake views. Staying at Carmen’s was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends into her home. The place is beautifully maintained, with comfortable rooms, a lovely dock, and a lush garden perfect for relaxing. The facilities are excellent, but what truly makes this place special is the warmth and hospitality of Carmen and Marcel. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, always with such kindness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and abundant—a perfect way to start the day. And in the evening, Carmen’s home-cooked dinners were a treat—she prepares the freshest fish of the day, and all the guests gather around the table to share a meal and great conversation. Carmen was incredibly helpful with everything, from tending to a blister on my foot to organizing day trips. This stay was more than just accommodation—it was a truly memorable experience. I can’t recommend it enough!

La Brisa del Mar is situated in Bastimentos and has a pool with a view and garden views. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. The property is brand new, the room was huge and very updated/modern. The location on the water was fantastic. Has all the amenities you need like fridge, stove, toaster, coffee maker and salt/cooking oil. The host is super nice and responsive.

Located in Bastimentos, less than 1 km from Carenero Noreste Beach and 2.3 km from Carenero Beach, Pure Roots provides a restaurant, sea views and free WiFi. We had a wonderful time at this place. You are surrounded by jungle. The huts are very cozy and they have everything you need. Jen is the host of this accommodation and she lovingly takes care of her guests. There is a delicious breakfast and she helps you organize any activities you want to do. We will remember this accommodation for a long time.

Set in Bastimentos, Coral Wing Casitas offers accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can enjoy sea views. Location was fabulous. Lots of windows with gorgeous views of wayer. Breakfast delivered to the room. We used the free kayaks. Snorkeling in front of the cabin was great. JJ was a wonderful host.

The Lodge at Punta Rica- Hilltop Eco-Lodge with Views & Pool is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bastimentos where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, private beach area, and... Fabulous stay over the holidays at such a lovely lodge. Quiet and comfortable with clean, private rooms and many communal spaces to enjoy nature and other guests. The food is extraordinary, Dan is a fabulous cook, can’t say enough good things about eating here! Both Dan and Brian went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming, working to arrange transport and activities and providing lots of advice. You can tell they both have put so much into the property and their service. The staff is friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Casita Azul is situated in Bastimentos. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Carenero Noreste Beach is 700 metres away. The property is as described. Lots of storage space so you can unpack. Great kitchen. They are very attentive to your comfort. We had one of the air conditioners break down when it was determined that is could not be repaired they had it replaced right away. It is only really needed in the evening and night time for comfort and sleeping. During the day open the doors and windows and the breeze is great. A very comfortable home and a great place to unwind.

Hostal Cay is set in Bastimentos and features a bar. The guest house has family rooms. At the guest house, every unit comes with a outdoor furniture. The ocean view, the price, you feel like at home

The setting is breathtaking—nestled in nature, surrounded by clear waters and lush greenery. The overwater bungalows and the eco-friendly design make the property truly unique. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which allowed us to completely disconnect and relax. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It felt cozy and in harmony with the natural environment around us. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, whether you’re into snorkeling, hiking, or just soaking in the beauty of Bocas del Toro. We highly recommend Eclypse de Mar to anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway. We would definitely stay here again!
