We booked this place quite blindly for 6 nights after a business trip to Panama City. We came without any big expectations, but this hotel turned out to be the best choice! Built and maintained at high European standards, this hotel offers a very pleasant stay, away from the city, which can be a bit too chaotic. There is absolutely nothing negative to write about this hotel, but let me touch on some negative comments about the distance and road from the center of Bocas. The hotel is 10km from the city Centre amid in the nature, something we really appreciated. There is a cheap bus available about 6 times a day, we also rented bikes just around the corner or used taxi. I can imagine that a drunk taxi ride back to this hotel in the night can be uncomfortable, but if you are this kind of traveler, then probably this is just not the right place for you. The staff ist very present and helpful, all speak fluently English (this is not self explanatory here!). The hotel is new, better than many others here around and it looks like in the pictures (or even nicer!). The food is freshly prepared three times a day and better than anyplace else we ate! Especially the green Thai curry was amazing. There is fresh water available all the time and they offer good Cocktails. The Bluff beach is just across the “road” and is probably one of the nicest beaches we visited, with very few tourists. We felt really safe all the time. Sloths, monkeys, frogs, birds and small crabs can be observed directly from the hotel garden. Price-value is just on spot! Other guests were also nice and calm, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly the whole time of our stay.

Enjoyed the location, just outside of Bocas Town Centre, peaceful quite and a superb view over the water, a place to watch the water taxis going about there business. The owner David was the perfect host, so helpful with advise on Bocas where to eat and which people to contact to organize Island trips.

I absolutely loved the hotel! Everything is very clean and smells amazing. The owner, Meghan, is incredibly attentive and prepares the most wonderful dinners. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay! The atmosphere of this place, and being over the water was wonderful! Loved our room and deck that were spacious, and comfortable with great views. A delicious breakfast served each morning. We enjoyed using a kayak to paddle around. The owners were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.

Everything! Carlo and family are so lovely and attentive, always happy to help with tours to general stuff like working the grill. The rooms are lovely, super clean and towels were refreshed regularly. One of the best places we’ve stayed in our three months travelling.

The general atmosphere is so peaceful - everything is made for you to relax in this luxurious nature. You can feel that the owner really cares and is passionate, from littles detail to the delicious breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect : far enough to be quiet, near enough to access the town fast and easily. A big + for the bicycle available for free to get around :) thank you !

Everything is taken care of thoughtfully here. We liked the healthy menu, yoga space, pool, bar, nature, staff, guests, and communication.

Terletak 0-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Carenero, RIVA B&B menawarkan taman, lounge berkongsi dan penginapan yang berhawa-dingin dengan teres dan WiFi percuma. The property is very cosy and you feel at home right at the moment you arrive. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the shower is amazing, the hot water is definitely a plus, and the sea view together with the sound of the waves is simply wonderful. The place is very quiet and peaceful, yet in a great location with easy access to the main island. The breakfast was great, and the coconut bread very tasty. Michel, our host, was incredibly attentive to our needs, very flexible and accommodating, and made sure we felt at home at all times. We would definitely recommend this place. Thank you, Michel!

We really felt like being in paradise. The hotel is located on a beautiful isolated island only reachable by boat. The owners make sure that all guests have an unforgettable stay. Benoit is a fantastic host and organizes great day trips while Fabienne cooks the best food we had in all of Panama (mix of French and local cuisine). We would recommend everyone to stay here and definitely hope to come back!
