We have stayed at this hotel for three days during our trip to Iquitos (province of Loreto, Peruvian Amazonia). The hotel is located in 5 minutes by a motocarro (tuk-tuk) ride from Iquitos ENAPU ferry terminal where all boats arriving from Peruvian border village Santa Rosa berth at and 400 m away from the city's famous landmark Ferrous House and very close to the Itaya riverbank promenade. All buses going to the local lake and leisure area Quistoqocha stop some steps aside the hotel's entrance door. - My and my friend's rooms were clean and tidy, cleaning was done everyday. - All facilities in the rest room were functioning OK, there was hot water in the shower. - Hearty breakfasts were served everyday with a choice of cooked eggs (omelette, fried egg, scrumbled egg with cheese, tomatoes or pork), bread with butter and jam, fruit salads, tropical fruit juices and a choice of coffee (black or with milk). - The receptionist Andre spoke a very good English and was ready to help. - The lady who owned the hotel was polite and kind, she was exchanging us USD into Peruvian currency at a good rate, helped to catch a bus passing by a park with local Amazon animals, fish and plants and before our departure gave a repellent tube to use it on our way back to Colombia.

The best we had in Peru. Chip and Jessica were lovely, welcoming and very helpful with finding the Amazonas tour and a Belen food tour for us- both tours were great and in a good price.

Directly on the banks of the Amazon, these lovely secure, air conditioned apartments and studios have free Fibre Optic and Starlink WIFI. Fantastic location away from hustle and bustle, bordering the river. Highly professional and helpful staff whom speak excellent english. very clean and practical rooms. Feels safe and peaceful. The interior garden is gorgeous. My room faced outward overlooking the river/jungle, and the sunset rising over the jungle every morning. Be aware that you have to keep windows closed at all time because of the bugs.

A recently renovated campground situated in Iquitos, Retazos Eco Hotel features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. We had a nice stay here for x4 nights before our tour of the Amazon. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful so that we could properly relax & rest before our adventure. The hosts are very friendly too, the room was clean & the air conditioning & Wi-Fi worked well. The price also includes breakfast, and so we felt like it was good value. Many thanks. ✨🦥

A recently renovated guest house, Posada Turistica Green House offers accommodation in Nauta. This guest house offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Mariolita and her family were amazing hosts. They made me feel at home.
