We took the kayak twice and explored around (it’s free), and we also used the bicycles taking them with us to the other side via the taxi boat. There are small exotic fishes and even saw a couple of small sharks at dusk. Emanuelle is a lovely person and a great host. Chloe the dog is sweet and there are also 2 cute cats moving discreetly around. Emanuelle suggested us things to do, like a great excursion and helped me out a lot when I got an ear infection. I could not ask for more from a host. If you want to enjoy Rangiroa at your own pace, take in the beauty of the place and leave stress behind this is the place. Thank you for everything!

Vahaui Paradis heeft een tuin, een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een restaurant in Avatoru. On the ocean side which brings ocean breeze! Relief from heat and mosquitoes! Beautiful view, relaxing. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped bungalows. Great coffee! Walking distance to shops and restaurants and takeaways. Bring a torch for walking back at night. 2 minutes walk to the lagoon. Bikes for hire close by but Pierre and Motire are happy to help out transport wise if you need a lift somewhere or want to go further afield. They were great hosts. Their place is close to the Tiputa diving pass, where you can also watch dolphins jumping. Sunrise on the ocean side and incredible sunsets on the lagoon side. And don’t forget to look up at the stars. Incredible. I can highly recommend this place.
