You don't see it from the outside and we were very positively surprised when the gate door opened. We had a big room with beautiful decoration. The pool is very refreshing. The staff is super friendly and helpful! We also had dinner one evening and it was delicious. I can highly recommend Keur Ama and would always go back when I am in Mbour.

Located within 100 metres of Ngaparou Beach and 4.4 km of Golf De Saly in Ngaparou, Maison de clara offers accommodation with seating area. small and intimate property in a safe, quiet area near Saly and a short walk to the beach. Rooms are beautifully decorated with local fabrics. spacious room with separate living area and great storage for all my luggage, clothing and purchases. separate toilet. shower was hot with great water pressure. the outdoor sitting areas were comfortable and provided enough privacy when needed. open air dining was a delight both day and night. pool was refreshing and clean. the tropical landscaping was absolutely stunning! But the BEST part of my stay: the incomparable hospitality of my hosts, Jean-Pierre and Veronique. I have never felt so well taken care of and in such capable hands anywhere else in the world that I've traveled to. JP and Vero are more than great hosts, they are great people to know and learn from. Genuine, warm, and full of insider knowledge about the area, the language, the culture and the local activities and attractions. JP and Vero helped me find everything I needed in / around Ngaparou from food to excursions to shopping. They helped me avoid tourist traps and even negotiated fair prices for tours, drivers, purchases and more. JP is a great guide and driver as well! I felt so safe on the often treacherous roads with him behind the wheel. Vero and I share a love of books and wax fabrics - I even got to visit a local nursery she volunteers at... a heart-filling experience that I will never forget! I felt so lucky to spend my birthday with these 2 wonderful people. I now think of them more as friends than as hosts. Much love and many thanks to them both!

La Maison Vanille, a property with massage services, is situated in Ngaparou, 400 metres from Ngaparou Beach, 3.6 km from Golf De Saly, as well as 28 km from Popenguine Natural Reserve. I’m so glad I randomly stumbled upon this place to stay after leaving Dakar. Immediately upon entering everyone makes you feel at home. Rooms are comfy and clean. The pool and food are delicious. Owners are so kind and helpful. I hope to return one day to this calm place.

We loved all! Such a calm place to relax and forget about everything else. If you looking for a kind of remote place that is not commercial and feels familiar than this is your get-away-place. Additionally great taste of furniture and overall quality. Also the food was soooo good! We will definitely come back!

Everything was excellent. Our hosts were extremely nice and incredibly helpful. The room was immaculate, a home from home. We wouldn't hesitate to return there when again when in Somone.
