Keur des Pecheurs was a home from home for me. There is great attention paid to general cleanliness of property. The staff are so incredibly friendly. Ivan and Khady are great hosts, did everything possible to make our stay easy, comfortable and memorable. From helping organizing excursions to airport transfers and fishing expeditions. The food is of a very good standard, fresh and delicious and the cocktails too!

I was there for two nights and I was traveling alone (as a woman). The room and the garden are very comfortable and pretty, the home cooked dinner was delicious and I really enjoyed the trips organized by the hotel to the local fish market and the Réserve de Bandia. I arrived early at 10 and left at around 3 and it was no problem at all to check in early and check out later. I felt really welcome and safe there. Highly recommended!

We also did there some beautiful local cruft shopping in their atelier and all was just perfect.

I’m so glad I randomly stumbled upon this place to stay after leaving Dakar. Immediately upon entering everyone makes you feel at home. Rooms are comfy and clean. The pool and food are delicious. Owners are so kind and helpful. I hope to return one day to this calm place.
