The best part about the stay was the hosts as they were so helpful the whole time and made sure we were always happy and sorted when it came to trips.

Bazouk Du Saloum Ecolodge Solidaire ligt in Mar Lodj met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een excursiebalie, bar, tuin en terras. Er is gratis WiFi. Imagine being cut away from the world, for all the good reasons. Or being stranded on Robinson Crusoe's island, but with the luxury of French cuisine and sublime, thatched roof bungalows. To boot, the weather was just clement enough to award for some great lagoon swimming, along with the pelicans. There's heaps of things to do and see around, but I doubt that you will wish to leave the place for long. Bring your next favorite book along or borrow from the lodge's library. What makes the place extra special is the staff, to begin with the French owners. Thank you, Babakar and Khassim, for some great chats and insights into Senegalese society, Jean Baptiste, Awa and Yvonne for graciously serving the meals and drinks, Marie and Agnes for the local craftsmanship, Ass for deftly steering the pirogue. I'm sure I forgot names here, but there was not one person in the staff for which anything was too much to ask. I will always remember the giant baobab and those soft, enchanted nights. Go alone or bring someone special, if you do. I know I will next time.

Good location not too far from the airport. The host is doing everything to make it a nice stay for her guests. Really familial atmosphere. Nice to have contact with the other guest, to have breakfast and if requested diner all together. They have different excursions to offer. Large bedroom together with own bathroom and toilet. We really had a great stay and will for sure book again this accommodation if we go to Senegal.

Host and owner Emmanuel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable to best navigate the surroundings.

Er is een à la carte-ontbijt beschikbaar bij de bed & breakfast.... The property is located at the edge of Ndangane. Because there are no other properties between theirs and the Sine-Saloum Delta we noticed more wild birds here than anywhere else in Ndangane. The accomodation is exceptional and our room was lovely - great shower as well. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Main Street / jetty. We must not forget the most important person, Marie-Augustine. We had read about this lady in other reviews and they were correct. What a lovely, kind person. Nothing is too much trouble. We asked if we could meet a local family and Marie-Augustine organised this. We learnt more about local life and had a meal with the family. What a fantastic day. If we ever venture here again we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Last but not least Vincent & Nicolas also made us feel welcome at Campement Houefa.

Chambre en bord de mer …(pied dans l’eau) bevindt zich in Ngalou Sessène en beschikt over een terras. Vliegveld Internationale luchthaven Blaise Diagne (Dakar) ligt op 99 km van de accommodatie. De plek is echt heel speciaal en de eigenaren zijn zo onwijs vriendelijk, behulpzaam en super lief!! Ik kom hier zeker nog vaker !
