The hotel where you're welcomed not only by most helpful staff, but also by most sweet and friendly cats - you can learn their names on the table in the office. The location is strategicly near to the bus station and the street market (though in a quiet internal street). Highly recommended!

Offering outdoor pool and a restaurant, Le Patta is 100 metres from Saturday Night Walking Street. It features rooms with free Wi-Fi and a private balcony. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved our room it was better than we thought it would be. Nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Plenty to select from.

Located within a 5-minute ride from Chiang Rai Clock Tower, Saikaew Resort features cosy cottages with modern facilities with a laundry service. Free WiFi is provided throughout the resort. Service here was exceptional and it was really good value. The place also had self-service laundry which was a boon in a long trip. Loved that it had a balcony with beautiful views of the lotus pond, especially at sunrise.

Secret Corner Boutique Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Chiang Rai. This is a brand new hotel with both bunk rooms and private suites. We stayed in a private suite with our own private bathroom. It was so clean and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable! We loved hanging on the rooftop to do work and chill with friends did! Will definitely be back!

Located in Chiang Rai, 700 metres from Statue of King Mengrai, Social Garden Hostel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Social Garden was my first hostel experience in Thailand and I think it ruined my future hostel experiences in this country because it was AMAZING, and I don't think the other hostels will come close to this. The staff and volunteers are wonderful people. I wish i had time to stay longer. I felt very welcome from the start. Right away I was included in the activities. They helped me book a tour of the area. The evening games are so fun. Sitting at the table and getting to know people from all over the world was a highlight for me. People go out to eat together and invite anyone to join. We went to muay thai together, which is not something i would try alone, but had a great time. The beds are SO comfortable. If you want to have a social experience, and feel included even as an introvert like myself, stop looking around and book this place.

Offering a garden and garden view, Baan Khunsri Guesthouse is situated in Chiang Rai, 1.1 km from Chiang Rai Saturday Night Walking Street and 1.4 km from Wat Pra Sing. The best accommodation we’ve had in Thailand so far!! The owners were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The room was spacious, and the interiors and amenities were thoughtfully designed with guests in mind. Would definitely come back whenever I’m in Chiang Rai ❤️
