The best thing about the property though has to be the hosts! What a lovely couple. They were so kind to myself and my partner and made us feel very welcomed and totally at home. We had some cool conversations where one of the hosts demonstrated her impressive English! She also educated us on the 2 different types of mango trees they have on the land and also prepared one of the sweet fruits for us, it was delicious! The husband also makes his own coffee and we were lucky enough to try that too! I believe we tried a medium roast and it did not disappoint. But as a whole, the hosts really made our stay special.

Best place to stay on the island!

Right next to Andalay Resort and directly on the beach, which was almost completely empty when we were there, as there are only a handful of hotels close by. There is a garden in front of the room with a lot of chairs and hammocks. There are only two rooms so it is never crowded. Multiple affordable restaurants and bars are nearby within walking distance. The rooms are modern, very clean and have modern, relatively silent ACs. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our wishes and spoke fluent English. The mother is always on the premise and she was the kindest and most caring woman ever. We had an medical emergency during our stay and she drove my girlfriend to the doctor and made sure that we have all we need.

This is our last stay in Thailand and I can say that it was the best. The location is in the middle of the island so it’s perfect to rent the scooter which is very cheap to just explore the island.
