We had an absolutely outstanding stay here. The place is unreal in its beauty, nestled in the middle of the Alishan mountains surrounded by superb trails. Mornings are filled with watching some of the most beautiful sunrises from the own observation deck. At night you can enjoy the best hot pot I have ever had (being vegetarian or vegan). Whole hearted recommendation. Great location to explore the region.

Offering mountain views, leisurely Inn is an accommodation situated in Leye, 32 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall and 37 km from Chiayi Tower. An absolutely fantastic hotel! A beautiful, spacious room with a great bathroom and a comfortable, large bed. The location is excellent. An additional huge plus are the wonderful owners, very friendly and helpful. Additionally, there was a wonderful smell of tea everywhere! I highly recommend it!

Set 25 km from Wufeng Park and 34 km from Alishan Forest Railway, Slow House features free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, terrace and seating area. Had a really nice stay there, the owner is friendly, communication with google translate works well. The accomodation is quite new and very clean, beds are comfortable, the price is great. Good location for solo travellers. You can also do the Eryanping trail from there or go to Alishan by bus.

Set in Dalin, 6.2 km from Nami Movement Leisure Campus, Romance Guest House offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a tour desk. 2 mins walk to the railway station 🚉 Close to local breakfast 🍳 🥞 蛋饼，stingy tofu 臭豆腐, morning market . The friendly front desk lady rode me to the dalin night market 😋😋😋 I liked the retro, vintage design and modern experience of this guesthouse. Like entering into a Taiwanese drama studio setting. Time travel machine back into the 60s.

Offering free bikes and city view, 郵系空間民宿 is situated in Zhuqi, 10 km from Wufeng Park and 12 km from Chiayi Park. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Offering a terrace and mountain view, Drizzle Tea House is set in Fenchihu, 37 km from Wufeng Park and 42 km from Chiayi Tower. An amazing stay and experience we have been to in Taiwan. The hotel is located on a beautiful rice plantation, close to the tea trails. The owners are so nice and welcoming. They picked us from the bus stop. Great experience in the tea ceremony, delicious dinner and breakfast. Room was also comfortable and inviting. Defenetly recommend to go there :)

Offering a garden and mountain view, Hongpeng Coffee Station Homestay is set in Meishan, 5.8 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street and 24 km from Janfunsun Fancy World. The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, One Roll Stone Homestay is situated in Fanlu, 18 km from Chiayi Tower and 19 km from Lantan Reservoir. The incredible view, the quiet, the owners, the dog and cats, everything and everyone was amazing. Thank you for accommodating our late check-in on short notice and providing us with a tasty lunch. We hope to come back soon!

Located within 31 km of Jiao Lung Waterfall and 34 km of Alishan Forest Railway, Alishan Hinoki B&B offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Leye. Absolutely everything - so spotlessly clean - room was stunning - view from exceedingly large window was amazing over the mountains - breakfast was incredible - staff were first class and work incredibly hard. I’d live there if I could!

Boasting mountain views, Rainy Pleasure provides accommodation with patio, around 7.4 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street. Very nice place. Like paradise!
