I didn't plan to travel Sanyi but prices were just crazy during weekend in Taichung and Puli so i gave a try... and honestly it was worth it. Good and clean hostel with friendly and helpful owner. I recommend a stop here and go hike Huoyanshan mountain .

I can not express how amazing the owners are! The rooms are in their home and they make you feel like you’ve become their children. They are so incredibly kind and helpful and welcoming! The rooms were extremely comfortable, even the shared bathroom is very nice. The location is top-notch too. It’s wayyy up in the mountains and the view from their roof over the mountains in the morning is….. I have no words to express it. Again just an awesome stay would definitely go back again!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with tatami mats and futons - we really liked the japanese style. There is a cafe, souvenir shop and free kimono rental. 3 min walk to the Old Street where you can find some yummy food. Highly recommend!

Host helped to improved my travel plans, gave a lot of tips and advice. Location is a little bit out of city centrum, so better to have a car.

This homestay gave us such a warm and comfortable feeling. The grandma is incredibly kind, friendly, and caring, always making sure we were well taken care of. The house is very clean, and she even helped us clean our clothes without charging anything. She also shared cherry tomatoes, fruits, and eggs with us. Staying here felt like being with family. We are very grateful and would love to come back.
