A convenient store on the way to the train station was a good to get knick-knacks. The morning breakfast had a good variety of local and western fair. Though the restaurant was crowded, the hotel managed this by working the guest into 3 time slots.

They helped us prebook car tours to Alishan and Tainan, which saved us a lot of trouble. Despite being close to the night market, it was also clean and quiet.
