Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge is situated in the Karatu district surrounded by the highlands of Tanzania and the world heritage site namely the Ngorongoro Crater. The staff were very accommodating with all of wishes. Customized food for children, packed lunches and extra food by the pool. It’s in the most beautiful location, and very close to the park.

It is situated on a hill which gives it a great view over the surroundings and the lake. The owner was incredibly friendly! He helped us with information about the fees for the national park (Be aware of the gate fee of 35$ and the Tanzanian wildlife management fee of 30$ for every night that you spend there), as well as arranging a bus ticket for us for the way back to Arusha, and he also planned our trip to the Ol Doinyo Lengai Volcano. Even though the guesthouse is still under construction, which is why e.g. the WiFi and the swimming pool were not available yet, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!
