Excellent value for the money we paid. 149 dollars was a bargain. Spent one night there after bailing from a place round the corner that was double the price and awful. Featuring 5-star accommodation, South Lake Chalet by Heavenly is set in South Lake Tahoe, less than 1 km from Lakeside Beach and 1.9 km from Tahoe Queen. When we arrived, there was some urgent construction underway to improve the units. While this caused a bit of disruption to our stay, we decided to check out a day early and informed the team. To our surprise, they took the initiative to contact Booking.com on our behalf and arranged a refund for the final night. On top of that, they offered us an additional $50 as a gesture of goodwill. They weren’t obligated to do any of this, and it truly reflects their commitment to excellent service. What could have been a disappointing experience was completely turned around by their responsiveness and care. The hosts were quick to respond to any queries, the location is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable. At the end of the day, it all comes down to service—and in this regard, they truly excelled.

Comfortable Accommodations: Gravity Haus Truckee-Tahoe in Truckee offers family rooms with private bathrooms, balconies, and modern amenities. Some rooms include a balcony. This was a wonderful restful hotel with quiet rooms and comfortable beds.Beautiful cedar architecture - nice restaurant onsite - complimentary coffee in the lobby all day - and a great little bar area near the fireplace. Bring your swimming costume - there is an outdoor spa.

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. Great staff, great location and the rooms, gardens and hotel areas are really nice. A great place to relax and enjoy Tahoe. Close enough to easily get to restaurants but far enough out to give peace and quiet. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and thoughtful.

Facing the beachfront, Edgewood Tahoe Resort offers 5-star accommodation in Stateline and features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and private beach area. The lobby with s’mores was so beautiful and all the people working were so helpful. We brunch only this time and the restaurant never disappoints. A shout out to Stephanie in the lounge, always makes us feel welcome.

Nestled in the trees on the historic Lake Tahoe west shore in Tahoe Park, this cozy adults only bed and breakfast is just steps from a private Lake Tahoe beach. It was an exceptional stay and vacation for us. The area of the property is so beautiful, the cottages so cute and quite, too even if its directly next to the main street. When we arrived we had a lot of marvellous recommendations from the owner. She explained us everything we need to know. The breakfast is delivered every morning to your door and you just need to fill out a paper what you would like to eat. The complete concept is just so nice and lovely! You are having a private beach access through a key. We went there for two days and it was splendid. We saw a lot of squirrels but no bears, the morning we were about to depart even a little frog was on our terrace. Next to the area is a little shop they doing flatbreads, really good! So basically you have everything you need nearby but a bigger safeways can be found in Tahoe City (10 minutes by car). We would definitely come back to this place if we will stay at Lake Tahoe another time and we highly recommend to go there!! Also the area is for us personally the best of Lake Tahoe (we drove around the whole Lake).
