Featuring 5-star accommodation, South Lake Chalet by Heavenly is set in South Lake Tahoe, less than 1 km from Lakeside Beach and 1.9 km from Tahoe Queen. South Lake Chalet is centrally and perfectly located to walk to Heavenly Village where there are so many shops and restaurants. It's also a short drive to other attractions and sites. Our unit was very clean, cute, and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our clothing and the kitchenette was well stocked and came in handy. We also loved the fireplace. We brought our pup with us and there was an area to take her out to relieve herself and complimentary "poop bags". We were also pleasantly surprised that for a room that was pet friendly. It did not smell like dog at all. We've stayed in other places where you could definitely tell. The customer service was also excellent. Our questions were answered quickly and the representatives were so nice. Easy check in and a code to get in, we like that much better than a card key. We would stay here again!

Black Bear Lodge is situated in South Lake Tahoe, roughly 0.8 km from the lake and 1.6 km from The Gondola at Heavenly. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and a gas fireplace. Great staff, great location and the rooms, gardens and hotel areas are really nice. A great place to relax and enjoy Tahoe. Close enough to easily get to restaurants but far enough out to give peace and quiet. The staff were wonderful, very friendly and thoughtful.

Nestled in the trees on the historic Lake Tahoe west shore in Tahoe Park, this cozy adults only bed and breakfast is just steps from a private Lake Tahoe beach. We arrived at night and I loved how much lighting there was with all the string lights, it was a very cute environment. The bed was super comfortable and the cabin stayed very warm. We also walking over to the beach (even with snow) which gave us great views of the lake. I would 100% stay again, maybe in the summer too!

We had a fantastic stay at Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge. We arrived after check-in hours, but the staff had thoughtfully prepared a late check-in package for us, so everything was seamless and ready — we were able to head straight to bed after a long day of travel. The lodge itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with plenty of room to relax. The gas fireplace was a real highlight, creating a cosy and welcoming atmosphere, especially with the snow outside — it made for a perfect Lake Tahoe experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the accommodation was very well kept. We also noticed the recently refurbished jetty and grounds, which look excellent and would make this an ideal place to bring a boat in the summer months. Highly recommend for a comfortable, well-run, and relaxing stay by the lake.

Located less than 5 minutes' drive from Lake Tahoe beaches, this Stateline resort boasts suites with kitchenettes and an on-site guest hot tub and sauna. Everything. Outstanding location and wonderfully friendly staff. The accommodation is a time share and allows for full self catering, which suited us perfectly for our 2 night stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it felt just like being at home.
