The entire complex, just arranged sooo lovingly and lovable - Super friendly and always caring hosts, yet giving us the feel of being in a private home, just phantastic, wish we would have stayed longer! Extended from 2 to 3 nites, wish it were weeks :-)

Set in Knysna and only 700 metres from Coney Glen Beach, Glenview Heads Apartments offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing view from the room and especially from the sundowner deck. We enjoyed a nice sunset at the deck. The rooms are clean, beds super comfy and the towels are nice and soft. It felt like being at home. Good communication with the owner Graham. He sent useful info upfront and was there for any question. I would 100% recommend this place and for sure will come back when we’re back in SA.

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Fernery Lodge is in an absolutely beautiful location, perched on a cliff with breathtaking views over the ocean. We stayed in one of the chalets and loved it — everything is wooden and beautifully designed, giving it a super cozy and unique feel. The chalet was very spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely bath and two showers, which was a great touch. The pool area is really nice, and the property has several hot tubs spread around, perfect to enjoy both during the day and in the evening. The whole atmosphere felt romantic, peaceful, and genuinely special.

Garden Route Game Lodge is located near Albertinia, overlooking the Langeberg Mountain Range. It is surrounded by lush vegetation and various animals can often be seen. Lovely property right at the garden route. The food is great, the field guides during the safaris were amazing and we got to see plenty of animals. The whole staff from the moment of check in to check out was just lovely and tried to make you feel welcomed and relaxed.

Nestled at the eastern head of Knysna, this luxurious, pet-friendly hotel boasts a championship golf course, a restaurant and a spa. Free WiFi is provided. The resort truly deserves its star rating. Its location, about 10–15 minutes outside Knysna, is actually a highlight — the distance gives the property a peaceful, nature‑rich atmosphere with breathtaking views. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and quick to assist. The food at both the restaurant and breakfast was excellent, and the entire resort felt calm and relaxing. Even during a water shortage, the team proactively offered credits as a gesture of goodwill, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. The scenery, including the golf course, was beautiful.

Guest House The Lazy Lion in Knysna provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view, a garden and a shared lounge. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Overall, I loved my stay at the lazy lion. The room and the view were amazing. The room was large and had a refrigerator, plenty of water to drink, and a hairdryer. The room was also very clean. The couple who owns the guest house are very nice people and make a big effort to talk to all of the guests. The breakfast was really big and healthy. I really enjoyed all of the food and drink offered. The couple offered lots of advice on good things to do and even offered to loan equipment (like fishing rods) to some of the guests. I thought this showed they really care and are good hosts.

Located in Groot Brak Rivier, Sunny Brae Manor is a recently renovated accommodation, 18 km from Botlierskop Private Game Reserve and 25 km from Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex. Excellent location for what we wanted. Excellent and friendly staff who went out of their way to assist us. Lovely place - neat and clean and perfect location!
