The rooms were very comfortable with a nice design. We had 4 great safaris and we spotted 4 of the big 5. The meals were very good, original, with a twist. The chef is great and we highly recommend the restaurant. Andreas, our guide, was knowledgeable and really friendly. We strongly recommend the Garden Route Game Lodge.

The restaurant provided delicious and beautifully presented meals, turning every dining experience into a highlight of our stay. With out doubt the best hosts we have experienced on our travels, with such an interest in the area, its wellbeing and ensuring all guests have an amazing experience not just in the Lazy Lion but the Knysna area. The room had amazing views, was immaculate with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was so personal with Ella changing options daily, with her own homemade specialities. Exceptional, would love to return and are planning our next trip
