Conveniently located, the property is lovely - perhaps the best in the area. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Great onsite dining and shopping options for the Uluru experience!

We were prepared for the 10.6 km walk including water and fly nets over our hats. Lots of interesting features and things to look at. We would recommend doing the Mala Ranger walk before the Uluru base walk. There are toilets about half way round. Other toilets available across the road from the carpark.

This part of Australia is a must see.

This part of Australia is a must see. It is an incredible site to visit and experience. The Field of Lights was stunning, and enjoyed the drinks and canapés. I have visited Ayers Rock 4 times, and just love being in this wilderness, with its clear night skies. I have walked it once and rode the bike twice, which is a bit tricky in some areas due to soft sand. The very first time I visited, I only saw parts of the rock and did some short walks, as it was a bus tour from Alice Springs, with time limit. I really recommend a few days here to take in the beauty of the landscape, and also visit the Olga's, which are truly incredible.

Must see Wintjiri Wiru.

Must see Wintjiri Wiru. We saw the evening sunset and dinner and was fabulous. They even supplied light blankets as it was cooling down in the evenings. We experienced the "Rock" at sunrise with a light breakfast and then drove round the rock. Did the base walk which is flat ground but red dirt paths and not much shade in some parts and little seating in the hot parts. Definitely need to take water and flynets are a MUST. Sunset is of course looking at a different fascia of the Rock and subtle colour changes happen which is great. Dont forget to look at Kata Tjuta( the olgas) at sunrise and sunset as you can usually see them from the same vantage point. Very easy to get around the resort with a 50? seater bus going round the circuit every 20 mins stopping at all the hotels and campground. It isnt far to walk across a field from one side of the resort to the other If you want car hire you can organise it from the Information centre and if going into the national park you will need to purchase a Pass which for 3 days was $38 and they did extend it for 2 more days at the ranger station where you enter the park.
